Come join us for a fun and informative social occasion Saturday August 28th at The Back Door Cafe in Columbia, MS.

9:30 AM – 11:30 AM….Yoga Basics…..set a strong foundation for your yoga practice. Learn the basics of standing postures and floor postures to increase your strength, flexibility, balance, focus and concentration.

A light lunch will be served in traditional southern style as a time to build community…. which is a very important part of any yoga practice!!
1:00 PM – 2:30 PM….Restorative Yoga…..using props such as blankets and bolsters…you will be guided in a gentle, deeply restorative practice to renew your body, mind and heart.
Your investment for a day of yoga including lunch is $40.

Explore these concepts as we review the Universal Principles of Alignment to cultivate harmony on and off the mat.

Discover how lack of awareness in our day to day lives can create misalignments which may lead to discomfort and pain in our physical bodies….in this workshop, we will learn simple Anusara yoga therapy techniques to realign and cultivate greater strength, stability and freedom in your body.
 
Sunday Dec. 5      Bring Balance to the Yin and Yang Aspects of Yourself
Yin Yoga      10:00 AM – 12:30 PM     $30
-a quiet practice
-encourage the increased flow of prana in the six meridians of the body that pass through the area of the hips
-help to maintain the health of the connective tissue of the body
-develop a mindful meditation practice
-a series of hip opening floor poses held 5 minutes each
